Personal and Interests
I have an amazing wife of over 8 years and am a proud father of a spunky 5 year old daughter and a curious 2 year old boy. This happily occupies much of my time. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping and exploring new places and playing games. I enjoy running and participating in local 5k races. I enjoy exercise and watching sports…sometimes I play the occasional basketball, golf and participate in the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl. Go Braves and of course my BYU Cougars. I am actively involved in my local church and youth program. I enjoy teaching and mentoring. A more recent interest I’ve developed is a in-door plant hobby. Growing up, one of my favorite past time activities was surfing in North Carolina. Occasionally I have the enjoyment of paddling my board out into the ocean, breathing in the solidarity of nature while sitting on my board off the coast and catching a ride on a rolling wave. Part of my ideal retirement would to be that old man with his longboard surfing every morning…that and being surrounded by a multitude of family, children and grandchildren.
